A well-framed palace
Whoever built this stone arch clearly knew that a vast, spiky palace across the water looks best when neatly hemmed in. Looking out past the rooftops and the pale river, I am happy to let the masonry do the composing for me.
A bright green car passes
I stood by the crosswalk as a small green car navigated the wide intersection before the grand stone buildings. Its bright color stood out so sharply against the pale facades that I could not look away.
